While all the eyes have been locked on Canadian cannabis companies, some US companies are beginning to show way more promise.
For instance, two of these companies, Trulieve Cannabis and Harvest Health & Recreation are planning to merge, which in terms of sales would put them as one of the largest companies in the world.
The deal is a $2.1 billion all-stock deal. Their 2021 estimated sales combined puts them at $1.24 billion which is just under Curaleaf’s $1.26 billion.
According to Barrons, an analyst called this the largest transaction in US cannabis history.
