Prerolled joints called “Peaches” are Justin Bieber’s way of breaking into the cannabis industry. The name is based off of a song from his last album, Justice.
“I got my peaches out in Georgia (oh yeah shit), I get my weed from California (that’s that shit),” he croons on the song.
He’ll be working with the LA-based company Palms on the roll out.
“I’m a fan of Palms and what they are doing by making cannabis approachable and helping to destigmatize it –- especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health,” Bieber said in an emailed statement.
Following in the footsteps of Jay-Z and Seth Rogen, we should expect to see many more celebrity marijuana brands coming out in the next few years, which in effect will help continue the destigmatization happening on a national level.
Here’s the live version of the song, because it’s way better than the studio.
